Painting with Color: A Fundamentals Color Theory Workshop

Saturday, October 5th from 1pm to 3pm.
 
Learn the basic properties of color, create your own color wheel, and apply  new concepts to create a glowing effect in experimental project. 
 
Planned Activities:
Mixing from the traditional color wheel
Creating shades with and without black
Matching color swatches
 
*Although it’s important to understand these concepts individually, when putting them into practice, relationships between colors is crucial
 
Materials Provided:
Some materials provided. 
Blank color wheels  
Paint  
Palettes  / paint cups
Brushes  
Paint swatches  
Blank surfaces for color experiments (canvas, panel) 
Recommended to bring a notepad/notebook and your painting medium of choice.
